Rajeswari, her husband Manisegaran and their 6 children live at a flat in Klang. Manisegaran was employed as a lorry driver helper, but he had to quit his job 2 years ago due to his failing eyesight. He has completely lost vision in his left eye and his right eye is severely impaired. His vision impairment prevents him from being employed. Rajeswari was working as a cleaner in a factory in Klang, but she too had lost her job 6 months ago.
Having lost all sources of income and depleted their savings, the family is struggling to put food on the table. Their flat rental has not been paid for 3 months and the landlord had demanded that they vacate the flat by this month.
Rajeswari received a total of RM21,332 from generous donors during this campaign.
