CAMPAIGN PERIOD: 17-27 OCTOBER 2020
Paramjothy Sabaretnam (Param) who’s nearly 70 and is an excellent example of someone who strives to be independent. Param lost his job in early June this year and struggled to find work since. His hard work paid off as he found a new work opportunity that starts mid-October in Petaling Jaya. With almost three months without a job, Param tried his best to make ends meet but was still unable to pay the rent for his room for the last three months, beginning August, even after living merely on biscuits and water most of the days. Param is a giver himself as he diligently serves at his church on a regular basis.
Through the generous donors we managed to raise RM10,930 for Param which significantly impacted his life. Here’s is a recording of Param’s thanks to all the donors to this campaign.
