CAMPAIGN PERIOD: 15-21 JAN 2022
Kamachiy is a single mother with 2 teenage daughters aged 14 and 11. They are currently living in Alor Star. She forced her estranged husband out of their home due to his abusive and violent behaviour two years ago. Since then, she’s had to fend for herself and her two daughters by being a freelance driver as her vehicle is too old to be qualified for Grab.
With mounting expenses ranging from hire purchase loan payments, living, and school expenses, Kamachiy is finding it hard to make ends meet. She is now 3 months in arrears for her house rent and her landlord has served her an eviction notice.
Kamachiy received a total of RM13,046 throughout the campaign from generous donors.
