CAMPAIGN PERIOD: 8-14 JAN 2022
Chia lives with his elderly father in a flat in Shah Alam. He met with a motorcycle accident two years ago and had a serious leg injury. He was working two jobs after the accident. Full-time job as a supervisor in a fire alarm company and hawker in the evening. Then he decided to work full time as a Lalamove rider hoping to earn more. Unfortunately, over time the wounds on his leg became infected. To save money, he avoided the doctor until recently when it became too painful to ignore.
Chia has been hospitalised in Hospital Shah Alam for the last one month to undergo a few operations on his leg. The doctor said he has to be hospitalised for at least another two months.
He does not have any income now as he is not able to work. It will take him a while to get back to work. He has depleted all his savings and he seeks financial help to pay for daily expenses and to support his elderly father.
A total of RM24,714 was collected throughout the campaign for Chia.
